Frame finish
Upper legs & book box are finished in either a sand beige or black polyester powder paint. Lower leg inserts are chrome plated.
Frame assembly
Upper legs are welded to the book box support brackets. The legs are fully adjustable in 1" increments by sliding the lower leg inserts and tightening a set screw. The lower leg inserts are fitted with 1" diameter self-adjustable nylon glides.
Book box construction
Book box is constructed of 20 ga. drawn steel with the edges curled for safety. The book cox is embossed on all four sides and bottom for added strength and stability. Book box measures 21-1/2" wide x 15-3/4" long x 4-1/2" deep. Book box is riveted to the support brackets. Desk top is attached to book box using pisano hinge and two heavy duty spring controls. A full length pencil tray is welded to the inside of the book box.
